Millport Old Cemetery

Golf Road, Millport

The old cemetery is split into two, a front part and a back part.

The front part has no sections or lair numbers, but we do have some very limited information that we may be able to carry out a search with. We don’t have an accurate date of when this opened however we can estimate the early to mid 1800’s.

The back part is where the sections begin (Sections A-H) and started from 1888.

You may request a burial search by contacting us. We require the name of the deceased and the date of death. We aim to get back to you within 5 working days.

If you wish to search for records before the date of opening, please contact Irvine Townhouse at: naheritage@north-ayrshire.gov.uk as we do not hold records for churchyards.
