Request a burial search

To locate the burial place of someone, contact us with:

  • the name of the person you are trying to locate
  • their age and date of death
  • the name of the cemetery you wish to be searched (if you know)

We will search our records and let you know the results. There is no charge for this service.

If you wish to search for records before the date of a cemetery opening, please contact Irvine Townhouse at: naheritage@north-ayrshire.gov.uk as we do not hold records for churchyards.

Locating a grave

You can search for the location of the lair and obtain a photograph by visiting our cemeteries page.

Please note: this is a work in progress, if there is NOT an ESRI map to allow you to search for the lair, please contact us.
