Modern Apprenticeships (MA)

What are Modern Apprenticeships?

The programme is available to people under 20 years of age.

As a Modern Apprentice, you could work as a North Ayrshire Council employee, helping deliver services to our 136,000 residents. At the same time you would undertake on, and off, the job training to develop your skills, knowledge and experience and work towards an SCQF Level 5 to 7 Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ)/Modern Apprenticeship (MA).

MA wage depends on the trainee's age and progression through the programme. We have introduced National Minimum Wage hourly rates.
