Check the availability of your preferred date and time with your chosen venue. Do this well in advance, especially for popular locations and times of year. Please note: no civil marriages or partnerships are carried out on 25, 26 December or 1, 2 January.

Ceremony time slots for Registration Offices
- Monday to Friday, 10am - 4pm*
- Weekends and Public Holidays, bookings on the hour, earliest 12noon and latest 6pm

Monday to Friday
- morning as requested: earliest 10am
- afternoon as requested: latest 4pm
- evening slot: 6pm
Weekends and Public Holidays
- as requested, earliest 12 noon and latest 6pm

Booking fees
Bookings are subject to a £55 non-refundable booking fee. This is not an additional charge and will be deducted from your final account which includes overall registration and ceremony fees. Should the booking be cancelled, the booking fee will not be refunded.
Fees can be paid by credit card or debit card over the phone or at your registration office. All fees must be paid in full no later than 4 weeks prior to the ceremony date.
To book your registrar, we operate an appointment system for face-to-face appointments. However, you can book over telephone with no appointment needed. Please see the contact details below.
What happens next?
Your Registrar/Civil Celebrant will contact you approximately 3 months before your ceremony to invite you to discuss your ceremony plan. We believe that your ceremony is unique and should reflect your individual tastes and personality. You may wish to consider ways to make your ceremony personal to you such as promises/vows, music and recitals/readings.
