Eglinton venue and equipment hire

To explore the park, we are delighted to offer electric scooter hire and a range of non-motorised wheelers. These are available free for visitors with reduced mobility. Our wheelers include trikes, a side by side tandem bike and an MT push wheelchair.

To book complete a hire enquiry form at least two working days in advance. Staff will check availability and be in touch to verify your booking.

We have wildlife surveying and monitoring equipment available to borrow free of charge for individuals, groups and schools. This was funded by Garnock connections landscape partnership supported by the national lottery heritage fund.

• scopes

Booking confirmation

We will send confirmation of your booking, and invoice, by email.

Payment

Payments for one off events must be paid four weeks in advance. Failure to pay in advance will result in your booking being cancelled and may risk future bookings. Regular bookings are invoiced two months in arrears.

To cancel a booking you must give 14 days notice in writing.

Notice

We take all measures to ensure your data is processed and held securely in line with the General Data Protection Regulations and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please read North Ayrshire Council's Privacy Notice. A written copy can be provided on request.

Where a daily rate applies, any venue usage out with operational hours (9am to 5pm) will incur an additional charge of £21 per hour.

Category one (full economic rate)

Commercial businesses/events where profits are not going to recognised charitable body.

Category two

Family functions/charitable fundraising events/self-employed coaches for sports and leisure.

Category three

Community and adult groups, community festivals and events, government agencies.

Category four

Non-profit youth and early years groups, senior citizens' groups, charitable organisations, mental health and addiction support services.

Category five (full subsidy)

All venue bookings are free of charge.

Racquet Hall

The Racquet Hall offers a large 167 m2 space including a small foyer with two toilets. Suitable for hosting a variety of events including conferences, exhibitions and activities.

Large field

This grass field covering approximately 25,000 m2 with a hardstanding access road is an ideal location for larger events.

Small field

Partial hard standing in this grass field (approximately 11,000 m2) makes this space suitable for a host of events including community fun days, markets and more.

Facility block

The block contains toilet facilities and showers. There are two showers in the male toilets and three toilet cubicles. The female toilets contain two showers and four toilet cubicles. A disabled access toilet is located in the vestibule of the female toilets.

Container toilets

Container toilets are split into male and female with five toilet cubicles each.
