Report graffiti

Our dedicated teams aim to remove graffiti within seven days of it being reported.

Report graffiti form

We use specialised equipment and chemicals to clean a range of surfaces and types of graffiti. They are environmentally friendly and safe.

If you know who is responsible for any vandalism or damage to street furniture, you can report anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or report to Police Scotland via the non-emergency number 101.

Bus shelters

North Ayrshire Council is unable to remove graffiti from bus shelters. These are managed by SPT. Report damage or vandalism to SPT.

Openreach

Openreach has a range of equipment relating to phone lines, including:

  • boxes
  • poles
  • road and footpath covers

Most cabinets are green and have a metal mark showing details such as GPO, BT and Telecom.

Report any damage or vandalism to Openreach directly.

There are other units which are similar to Openreach units, these are usually labelled clearly, for example, by Vodafone or Virgin Media. Please contact the service provider noted directly.

Scottish Gas Networks

Scottish Gas Networks (SGN) cabinets come in a variety of shapes and sizes. They are clearly marked with ownership and contact details. Report any graffiti on SGN property to customer@sgn.co.uk.

Scottish Power

Most electricity equipment will state its owned by Scottish Power with an electrical hazard sign. Older boxes are painted green, while more recent boxes are dark grey in colour. Report any damage, vandalism or concerns to Scottish Power.
