Roadworks to get under way near Dreghorn and Springside

Road users are being asked to plan ahead as vital roadworks are carried out between Dreghorn and Springside.

Surface improvement works will get under way at the roundabout at the junction of the B7081 Main Road and Towerlands Road.

The nature of the works means that the Dreghorn/Springside roundabout will require to be closed to traffic from 8pm on Friday, 19 June, to 8am on Monday, 22 June.

Drivers are asked to observe the signed diversions which will be in place and allow appropriate time for journeys while works are carried out.

North Ayrshire Council is carrying out improvements to road surface and while we appreciate this will cause some temporary inconvenience to motorists, it will bring long-term benefits through road improvements.
