Roadworks to be undertaken in West Kilbride

Road users are being asked to plan ahead as vital roadworks are carried out in West Kilbride.

Road surface improvement works will get under way on Glen Road between 8am and 5pm from Monday 28 September to Sunday 4 October,

During these periods, drivers are asked to observe the signed diversions which will be in place. Pedestrian access will be maintained between Main Street and Glenside Crescent using the east side footway only.

North Ayrshire Council is carrying out improvements to the road and while we appreciate this will cause some temporary inconvenience to motorists, it will bring long-term benefits through road improvements.
