Road improvements to be undertaken on A735

Road users are being asked to plan ahead as vital roadworks are carried out on the A735.

Surface improvement works will get under way on the road which connects Kilmaurs to Stewarton. Both North Ayrshire and East Ayrshire Councils have responsibility for the road, however these works are being undertaken by North Ayrshire Council.

The nature of the works means the road will be closed to traffic from 8am on Monday, 13 July, until 11.59pm on Sunday, 26 July, or until the works are complete, whichever is earlier.

Drivers are asked to observe the signed diversions which will be in place and allow appropriate time for journeys while works are carried out.
