Modern Apprentice recruitment day for North Ayrshire

North Ayrshire Council’s Modern Apprenticeship team will be hosting an employment event on Tuesday 11 March at the Volunteer Rooms in Irvine. Drop-in between 9.30am and 11.30am.
The Modern Apprenticeship Recruitment Day will be an opportunity to find out about Modern Apprentices across council services.
The council is now in its 14th year of delivering a successful Modern Apprenticeship programme across council services, helping hundreds of young people to learn new skills and progress their careers.
Known as MAs, recruits doing a Modern Apprenticeship are paid at the National Minimum Wage. The MA programme supports successful candidates to earn while they learn, achieving an industry recognised qualification.
Developing skills, knowledge and experience along the way, the council currently recruits over 40 new apprentices each year within various departments.
North Ayrshire Council is currently recruiting MAs across:
- Business Administration
- Housing
- Horticulture
- Professional Cookery
- Digital Applications
- Customer Service
- Trade Apprenticeships
Tickets for the event are free however booking is recommended via the dedicated website.
Quote: Aimed at young people aged between 16-19, there will be support for others on the day too as employability partners including CEiS Ayrshire will be on-hand to provide careers advice and support. So, what are you waiting for? Book your tickets now to take the next step in your career journey here in North Ayrshire. If you are a young person in North Ayrshire keen to make the next move in your employment, or you are a parent or carer supporting a young person, I would encourage coming along to the Your Next Move, Modern Apprenticeship Recruitment Open Day. This will be an action-packed event where everyone is welcome to find out more about the council’s Modern Apprenticeship opportunities."
