Residents and interested parties are being invited to have their say on the latest housing development in Ardrossan.

A total of six new homes will be built at Nursery Place in Ardrossan to replace the flatted blocks.

These blocks are being demolished after being identified for improvement as part of North Ayrshire Council’s Estate-Based Regeneration Programme.

The project is anticipated to be supported by a Scottish Government grant and will deliver a mix of two-bedroom general needs houses, an amenity bungalow and a wheelchair liveable bungalow

Members of the public are invited to view the draft plans online until Tuesday 8 July 2025.

A draft plans consultation event is also being held on Tuesday, 24 June, from 4pm to 6pm at Ardrossan Civic Centre.

To book your place at the event, email developmentandstrategy@north-ayrshire.gov.uk or telephone 01294 324031.

Quote: North Ayrshire Council has one of the most ambitious house-building programmes in the country and this development will help us to provide more modern, energy efficient affordable homes to our tenants. In addition, it will help regenerate and breathe new life into the area around Nursery Place.”
