Quote: Our local libraries are a fantastic place to connect with others in your area and enjoy our wealth of resources for all the family. So, whether you have little ones who love the storytelling and toys at toddler sessions, creative kids who want to do arts and crafts, competitive challengers looking to battle it out with our board games collection or you simply want a change of scenery and an escape – there’s something for everyone at North Ayrshire Libraries this summer!

To find your nearest library for the drop-ins and contact information for the sessions that need to be booked in advance, see location details online.

Although you don’t need to be a library member to be a part of the summer fun, membership will bring other benefits such as accessing PCs, printing, photocopying, books, e-books, magazines, newspapers and more…

Our libraries have toilet facilities, parking and free WIFI. To become a library member, sign up online now. All libraries also have friendly, knowledgeable staff on hand for anyone needing support with finding books or online resources.

Stay tuned to North Ayrshire Libraries on Facebook where we’ll be sharing more information on everything happening during August too – including sessions for children, teens and adults alike.

There are also some other exciting activities and events at the Harbour Arts Centre and Eglinton Country Park available to book via the TicketSource website. Check out the council website for details on larger events and festivals including Marymass and Largs Viking Festival.

K:A Leisure also have a wide range of sports and creative summer activities.
