Free summer fun with North Ayrshire Libraries

Summer fun North Ayrshire Libraries graphic with summer icons

Are you looking for some free and fun activities for children near you? Well look no further than North Ayrshire Libraries. With the summer holidays now officially here, our local library staff have been planning a host of free sessions, and they start this July!

To find your nearest library for the drop-ins and contact information for the sessions that need to be booked in advance, see location details online.

Although you don’t need to be a library member to be a part of the summer fun, membership will bring other benefits such as accessing PCs, printing, photocopying, books, e-books, magazines, newspapers and more…

Our libraries have toilet facilities, parking and free WIFI. To become a library member, sign up online now. All libraries also have friendly, knowledgeable staff on hand for anyone needing support with finding books or online resources.

Quote: Our local libraries are a fantastic place to connect with others in your area and enjoy our wealth of resources for all the family. So, whether you have little ones who love the storytelling and toys at toddler sessions, creative kids who want to do arts and crafts, competitive challengers looking to battle it out with our board games collection or you simply want a change of scenery and an escape – there’s something for everyone at North Ayrshire Libraries this summer!

Quote from: Councillor Alan Hill, Cabinet Member for Communities, Housing and Islands

Throughout July, a healthy lunch will also be provided to eligible children and young people of primary and secondary school age via selected libraries. Full details in the news release.
