With the summer holidays now officially here, our Locality teams have been planning a host of free sessions, and they start this July! Highlights this summer include arts and crafts, active games, bouncy castle fun, cookery lessons, drama classes, gardening sessions, free swim and skate sessions, virtual gaming and more delivered by our Community Learning and Development team. See the Virtual Community Centre for updates on these.
For anyone looking to keep active this summer, North Ayrshire Council has also teamed up with KA: Leisure to provide free swimming and skating sessions for children and young people up to the age of 17. Check out K:A Leisure for their wide range of sports and creative summer activities.

Then, North Ayrshire Council’s Corporate Parenting team will be running a host of summer drop-ins for care experienced children and young people. Full details via their Facebook feed.

Councillor Alan Hill, Cabinet Member for Communities, Housing and Islands is encouraging everyone to get involved.
Quote: Our communities are a fantastic place to connect with others in your area and enjoy making memories together. So, whether you have little ones who love the storytelling, creative kids who want to do arts and crafts, children and teens who want to make a splash or you simply want a change of scenery and an escape – there’s something for everyone across North Ayrshire’s community, culture and leisure venues this summer.
