Quote from: Councillor Tony Gurney, Cabinet Member for Green Environment and Economy
“From first-time riders to experienced cyclists, or residents who haven’t hopped onto the saddle in a while, we are proud to team up with partners on what will no doubt be a brilliant start to our busy summer events calendar.
“Cycling will be the focus so why not come along on your bike or borrow a bike from Everybody’s Cycling on the day?
“There will be a fun cycling arcade which will allow riders to make music, blow bubbles and race Scalextric cars. Free snacks will also be on offer as well as other fun activities such as soft archery, balance bike sessions, mini-athletics and more.
“So, save the date! Why not come along and join in the fun?”
It is hoped that by attending the fun day, residents will have the opportunity to connect with supportive services across the area and feel confident this summer to cycle around the amazing green spaces and cycle routes that North Ayrshire has to offer.
