Books of condolence open for Pope Francis

North Ayrshire Council has opened books of condolence following the death of Pope Francis.

Residents are invited to pay their respects at Cunninghame House in Irvine, Saltcoats Town Hall, Brooksby Medical and Resource Centre in Largs, Lamlash Area Office on Arran and Garrison House at Millport.

The books will remain open for signing during the usual opening hours at these locations until Friday, 9 May.

Quote: The passing of Pope Francis on 21 April has resulted in an outpouring of grief around the world. And here in North Ayrshire we are inviting people of all faiths and walks of life to pay their respects by signing a book of condolence at five sites.
