Arran Open Studios Art Exhibition arrives at the Harbour Arts Centre

Arran Open Studios is showcasing the work of artists and makers latest works at their first-ever event at Irvine’s Harbour Arts Centre.

Opened at the weekend and running until Saturday April, 27, this latest exhibition will celebrate the first time that the Arran Open Studios artists have come together to bring a selection of their work over to the mainland.

Taking place at North Ayrshire’s cultural hub situated at Irvine Harbourside, the exciting and diverse exhibition has free entry and will welcome visitors to the HAC’s Main Galleries for a showcase to remember.

A popular event on the Scottish art exhibition scene, Arran Open Studios has been running their annual exhibition since 2012.

Councillor Alan Hill, Cabinet Member for Communities and Islands is encouraging visitors to go along to the exhibition.

“In a host of different tastes and styles, inspired by classic, contemporary, abstract and everything in between the event celebrates the work of artists living and working in Arran.

“North Ayrshire Council’s Arts and Culture team are excited to open the doors to the public and see their reaction to the unique and diverse selection of works on display.

“So, if you are looking for something a little different to do this week or weekend, why not pop in? There really is something for everyone.”

The exhibition will run at the Harbour Arts Centre until Saturday 27 April.

​Relaxed and family-friendly, the exhibition will be open during the HAC’s standard opening times as follows:

Wednesday – 9:30am to 4:30pm
Thursday – 9:30am to 4:30pm
Friday – 9:30am to 5pm
Saturday – 9:00am to 4:30pm
