What is a cache?

A cache stores information about web pages so that they can load faster on future visits. This sometimes leads to an old version of a page or form displaying as it is showing the 'cached version'. For example, if your bin collection days are showing as the previous months dates then a 'cached version' is most likely to blame. Clearing your cache will bring the most recent dates onto the page.
