Community Projects Fund
In the 2025 Spending Review, the UK Government announced funding for up to 350 places as the cornerstone of their support for communities. This includes 95 places selected for the Pride in Place Impact Fund. The funding will be delivered by local authorities in England, Scotland and Wales and targeted at areas ‘in need’ with the aim of building strong, resilient, prosperous, and inclusive communities.
North Ayrshire Council was selected to receive funding through the Pride in Place Impact Fund.
The North Ayrshire Community Projects Fund (NACPF)
As part of the funding North Ayrshire Council have set up the North Ayrshire Community Projects Fund (NACPF). The fund is open to any constituted organisation delivering community focussed projects in the North Ayrshire Localities of Arran, Kilwinning, Garnock Valley and the North Coast and Cumbrae.
The council will award grants between £5,000 and £50,000 in 2026 to 2027 to eligible organisations. Grants will support activities which deliver the fund objectives, outlined below.
The funding is for capital expenditure only.
The total award must be legally committed in full by 31 March 2027.
The fund will be supported through information sessions across North Ayrshire with the following events scheduled. Please register your interest via email to regeneration@north-ayrshire.gov.uk.
