Notice of asset transfer request for Auld Dirrans Resource Centre, 70 Dirrans Terrace, Kilwinning KA13 7PH

An asset transfer request has been made to North Ayrshire Council under Part 5 of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015.

The request has been made by Irvine Elite Boxing Club and relates to Auld Dirrans Resource Centre, 70 Dirrans Terrace, Kilwinning KA13 7PH.

The request is for a lease with a view of full ownership in the future of Auld Dirrans Resource Centre, 70 Dirrans Terrace, Kilwinning KA13 7PH.

The proposal for the use of the asset is to teach the sport of boxing in a dedicated facility. The centre will also be a community hub within its members to gather and socialize and offer support to each other. The organisation’s full application relating to this request can be viewed online at Community Asset Transfer or by contacting the Community Asset Transfer Team on communityassetteam@north-ayrshire.gov.uk.

Anyone may make representations about this request to North Ayrshire Council. Representations must be in writing and include the name and address of the person making it. A copy of the representation will be given to the organisation making the request.

Representations must be made by 22 April 2026 to community Asset Transfer Team by email at communityassetteam@north-ayrshire.gov.uk.
