Notice of asset transfer request for the land that Cameron Centre is situated on - 17 to 19 Lade Street, Largs
An asset transfer request has been made to North Ayrshire Council under Part 5 of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015.
The request has been made by Age Concern Largs and relates to the land that Cameron Centre is situated on, 17 to 19 Lade Street, Largs.
The request is for transfer of ownership of the land that Cameron Centre is situated on, 17 to 19 Lade Street, Largs.
Currently the applicant has a long-term lease on the land and owns the building situated on it. By taking ownership of the land, it will ensure that the land and building is safeguarded for the benefit of the older members of the community. Anyone may make representations about this request to North Ayrshire Council.
Representations must be in writing and include the name and address of the person making it. A copy of the representation will be given to the organisation making the request.
Representations must be made by 30 April 2026 to communityassetteam@north-ayrshire.gov.uk.
