The Equal Programme is a service set up to provide support for anyone with physical, mental health or neurological conditions to take their next step into employment.
We work with everyone over the age of 16 and support you by understanding your strengths, showcasing your talents and making sure you are ready to work towards your chosen career.
The team will meet you and your support network to find out what you are interested in, we’ll listen to your chosen goals and aspirations. We will help you design a cv and a personal statement that reflects these ambitions for your future.
We have a full range of activities that you can get involved in, such as:
- horticulture and gardening
- cycle maintenance
- crafts
- creative writing
- football
- Dungeons and Dragons Top Table group
All our activities have been designed to help you gain social skills, qualifications and employment training to help you on your way.
When you find a job, the team will be on hand to work with you and your employer to provide support for as long as you need them.
