Housing Services aims to provide good, value for money services to our customers, including our tenants, applicants for housing, homeless people and people threatened with homelessness. Our work links to North Ayrshire Council's corporate plans and reflects the Scottish Government National Priorities and the North Ayrshire Community Planning Partnership (CPP) Single Outcome Agreement.
Our key activities fall within 7 main headings (you can read about these in more detail in our Service Plan):
Housing Management
Homelessness

assisting anyone who may be homeless or threatened with homelessness in North Ayrshire

providing tenancy support services to vulnerable groups
Safer Communities

contributing to the wider community by helping provide safer communities and tackling anti-social behaviour

The North Ayrshire Local Housing Strategy 2011-2016 details how we (the Council and its partners) will tackle the challenges and issues within the North Ayrshire housing system (including support, homelessness, fuel poverty and investment) over the next five years.
