Relaxed enforcement of public houses and restaurants offering takeaway

Posted on 20 Mar 2020

The Scottish Government’s Chief Planner has asked local authorities to relax the enforcement of public houses and restaurants offering a takeaway service during the current outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19).

This would allow pubs and restaurants to provide take-away services on temporary basis during the COVID-19 outbreak.

North Ayrshire Council can confirm it is happy to support this move.
