No-one should go hungry this Christmas

Posted on 20 Dec 2019

Across North Ayrshire, a helping hand is being offered to those struggling to put a meal on the dinner table this Christmas.

In every locality, arrangements are in place to ensure community food provision is available – free of charge - for those who need it.

This will include hot takeaway meals being available for children, along with frozen meals and free breakfasts in specific locations. The first of the events starts tomorrow at the Hayocks Hall in Stevenston with a free breakfast.

If you can spare a couple of hours for North Ayrshire Foodbank, they need your help early next week.

Volunteers are required on Monday and Tuesday to help ensure food packages reach those in need in time for Christmas.

If you can help, please call North Ayrshire Foodbank on 01294 601312 or email nafoodbank@btinternet.com
