Keep following Government advice this weekend

Posted on 25 Apr 2020

These are challenging times for everyone. We’re working extremely hard to keep services running, but it’s inevitable that some things will change.

Like everyone else, we must comply with Government advice which has impacted on how we work and how many staff are able to work at this time. Unavoidably this has had an impact on certain services, like our recycling centres and other customer facing office-based services. But please let’s all work together to get through this.

To help us and to make sure our area is safe for everyone, there a few things you can do:

  • Please follow Government advice and only go out for daily exercise and essential reasons
  • When you’re out on your daily walk please clear up after your dog and bin it
  • Remember during this time you can’t use our car parks at various locations https://bit.ly/3aZ49xx
  • You must not visit second homes, caravans or holiday homes
  • Please put your bin out for 7am on your collection day
  • Don’t fly tip. It pulls our resources away from other priority work
  • Let’s all be kind to each other
  • Be respectful and ensure you stick to the 2metre social distancing rule
  • Look after your neighbours, family and friends
  • And please say hello to our staff when you see them – we really do appreciate it!
