Changes to Social Security Scotland benefits

Posted on 17 Apr 2020

The Scottish Government has temporarily changed eligibility for a number of Social Security Scotland benefits. This is to help people who are impacted by coronavirus and can’t get an application in on time - due to illness or caring responsibilities - to still get the support that they need.

For more info on the support available visit their website here.

To make an application visit: https://www.mygov.scot/benefits/

Social Security Scotland are also urging people to use their online services as much as they can so that their telephone service can be prioritised for those who are unable to access help online.
