Arts and culture

Arts and culture

Providing a modern, dynamic, responsive and innovative arts service to the communities of North Ayrshire and beyond.

What's going on?

Our arts and cultural venues including The Harbour Arts Centre are closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We hope to open again towards the end of the year.

Live music

We bring an eclectic mix of live music to Ayrshire. Featuring a range of musical genres, including rock, country, folk, acoustic sessions and a regular slot from the New Orleans Joymakers, playing traditional jazz.

Side Splitters Comedy Club brings acts from the comedy circuit to Ayrshire. From established comedians to new kids on the block, our monthly club brings a little light entertainment.

Our exhibition programme captures both traditional and contemporary art from local and national artists, in a variety of media. Sometimes vibrant, sometimes challenging, but always thought provoking.

Entry to our exhibition space is free.

To enquire about exhibiting your work, contact the Harbour Arts Centre.

Art online

The Public Catalogue Foundation has digitised the UK's national collection of oil paintings, making art in public collections more accessible. Enjoy our art collection from your arm chair.

Experience live productions in our intimate theatre space. From edgy drama, to solo performances. From comedy to tragedy. Take a break from the TV and support the performing arts.

Workshops and classes

A programme of workshops and classes for all age groups facilitated by professional tutors. Choose from art, craft, drama, musical theatre, creative writing and more.
