Robert W Service Court was refurbished as part of the Sheltered Housing Re-provisioning Programme. The sheltered units are all designed to be fully accessible to cater for the varying needs of the older population. 
The project was designed by the Council’s Property Management and Investment team in partnership with Housing Services.
The refurbished building includes a new visiting services room, a new scooter store and improved external landscaping.

Montgomery Court, Kilbirnie (new build)

The former Montgomery Court was demolished to make way for a new £4.8 million complex.
The facility includes 16 one bedroom homes within a new Sheltered Housing Complex and 8 two bedroom amenity bungalows.
The site was designed by North Ayrshire Council Architects in partnership with Housing Services, the Health and Social Care Partnership and Stirling University’s Dementia Services.

To support independent living, the complex is modern and accessible with communal areas, a guest bedroom and landscaped courtyards.
The Health and Social Care Partnership and Housing Services have developed a 'hub' on the site, to enable the delivery of a range of services for both tenants and the local community.

George Aitken Court, Ardrossan

George Aitken Court was redecorated, with new carpets laid throughout. Tenants were provided with accessible wet floor shower rooms. The common room areas were redesigned providing a quality environment for residents.
