Learning disabilities support

Our aim is to enable all adults with a learning disability to lead as full a life as possible.

Community based services

Day services

Our day services at CBS Hazeldene promote health, wellbeing and daily living skills to help service users to develop confidence and promote independence.

The Media Group provides training and experience in IT, computing and aspects of desktop publishing. Activities include design and print for:

  • leaflets
  • posters
  • cards
  • newsletters.

Sparkly Crafts provides craft skills to suit each individual's preferences and ability.

Employment services (Job Support)

Our job support service works with adults with a learning disability. We provide work opportunities or volunteer placements in the community to enable them to meet their desired outcomes.

Access Support

Contact your local Health and Social Care Partnership office and ask for an assessment of needs.

Lunch to Go

Lunch to Go is a social enterprise, run by our Community Based Services team at Hazeldene, Kilwinning. It provides work opportunities for adults with learning disabilities to gain domestic science and food preparation skills. We support individuals with the food and hygiene ward (REHIS). These skills transfer to catering environments.
