Horse Riding


We welcome responsible horse riders. We have a network of designated paths, allowing riders to enjoy an off-road hack. Our facilities include; parking, mounting blocks and easy open gates. The park links into the Irvine and Kilwinning New Town Trail, a 12 mile route following the river valleys. For more information: www.north-ayrshire.gov.uk/outdooraccess.

Third Party Public Liability Insurance is required for all persons riding within the park boundaries.

The park operates a permit system - please complete an equestrian application for a permit. No charges apply. Proof of third party public liability insurance is required for all permits. Two passport-sized photographs required.
