Employment and Training Schemes for Disabled People
The following organisations provide advice and support on training and employment available to people with physical, sensory or other disabilities.
The Department for Work and Pensions can provide specialist support and advice to disabled people and employers. This is provided through Disability Employment Advisers (DEAs) who are usually based in Jobcentres and work as part of a local Disability Service Team.
New Deal for Disabled People offers the opportunity to lone parents and disabled people on health related benefits to explore work options.
