Care and Repair Scheme
The Care and Repair services in North Ayrshire are managed by Cunninghame Housing Association and Trust Housing Association. They aim to help elderly home owners and private sector tenants over 65 years of age who require adaptations or small repairs to their home.
The services can provide advice and practical assistance to enable you to remain living in your own home and carry out Scheme of Assistance works, such as bathing adaptations, for eligible elderly and disabled applicants. The service excludes decoration, gardening, fencing, slabbing etc.
A Small Repairs Service is also available to assist with various repairs required to improve your safety and security at home. Clients are required to pay the cost of labour and materials above the £100 (VAT included) repair limit.
