Residents, community groups and businesses across North Ayrshire have been raising funds to help those affected by the devastating earthquake in Haiti.
More than 150,000 people are thought to have died and many hundreds of thousands more have been left homeless and without of food, water and medicine.
But people throughout North Ayrshire have been digging deep and raising money to help support international aid efforts.
Amongst them are pupils and staff at Kilwinning Academy, who have collected £1,000, which will be handed to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC).
An account has been set up for North Ayrshire Council staff who wish to make a donation and many local churches have appealed to their congregations for funds.
A number of local shops are displaying collection buckets to help raise money, while high street banks can accept donations towards the DEC fund.
If you are hosting a fund-raising event, you can publicise it in the What's On section of the Council's website.
There is also scheme in place, Work Place Giving, which allows you to make charitable donations straight from your pay to any charity and, as it is taken from your gross pay, the charity automatically receives your tax.
