Parklive - Family Entertainment for the Holiday Weekend

Big Vern 'n' the Shootahs, with their blend of soul and funk is guaranteed to get the weekend off to a great start.
Supporting Big Vern is the sensational Vienna who take you on a journey back to the 80s. From hits by new romantic bands such as Spandau Ballet, Soft Cell, Human League to classic pop acts like Madonna and Wham, they are sure to wake you up and go go!
On Sunday 30 May, the MacDonald Brothers take to the stage – the Ayrshire boys who made it all the way to the X Factor finals. And for all the dancing queens out there, Abba-Cadabra, Scotland's number one Abba tribute act will have you thanking them for the music.
Local talent will be represented with a number of North Ayrshire School Bands appearing on the Sunday. From 12noon until 2pm, the Kilwinning Academy Concert Band and Saxophone Group, Traditional Music Group, Irvine Royal Academy Jazz Band & Saxophone Group and Largs Academy Concert Band all get their chance to wow the Parklive crowds.
There is also a range of activities to keep the children amused - face painting, treasure hunts, soft play and go karts on all offer - it makes for the perfect family outing.
With so much to do, see and hear, you can easily spend the whole day at Parklive.
