Important Notice for Voters in the Saltcoats and Stevenston by election

We have been informed by the Electoral Registration Officer that they mistakenly identified St Anthony's Primary School, Saltcoats as a polling place in this week's Saltcoats and Stevenston by election.

Voters who had been asked to attend this polling place should instead go to The Focus Centre, Primrose Place, Saltcoats.

All polling places will be open from 7am until 10pm on Thursday, August 25.

Saltcoats and Stevenston By-Election

A local government by-election will be held in the Saltcoats and Stevenston ward on Thursday, August 25 following the retirement of Councillor David Munn.

 

To vote in the by-election, you must be a resident of that ward and be on the register of electors by August 10. This is also the deadline for requests for new postal votes or changes to existing postal votes or proxy appointments. Applications should be made via the Electoral Registration Office, Ayrshire Valuation Joint Board, 9 Wellington Square, Ayr KA7 1HL

 

The polling stations (PDF, 19.7Kb) will be open from 7am until 10pm on Thursday, August 25.
