Temporary diversions will be in place in Largs this weekend due to a 24-hour closure of a section of the A78.
As part of the Largs Traffic Management Plan improvement works, which started on 8 March, AMEY will be carrying out essential work on the route this Saturday (13 March 2010).
The total closure will take place from around 6pm with associated temporary diversion routes in place.
Between the A78 Main Street and A78 Irvine Road, drivers will be directed along Bath Street, Mackerstone Place and Charles Street.
The road is expected to reopen on Sunday night.
