Committee Meetings

Detailed below are the scheduled dates for meetings of North Ayrshire Council and its committees. Meetings will commence at the times indicated. The duration of the meetings listed below is indicative only.

Meetings of the Council and its committees normally take place within the Council’s headquarters at Cunninghame House, Irvine, except for meetings of Area Committees which take place in local venues as indicated.

Provision is made within the Committee Timetable for meetings of the Local Review Body and special meetings of the Council (Planning) to determine pre determination and determination hearings. Note that these meeting dates are provisional. Meetings of the Local Review Body and Special Council (Planning) will only take place when there is business to be transacted.

All meetings of the Council and its committees are open to the public, except to the extent that business has been exempted under the relevant provisions of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973.

Agendas and reports for meetings are made available on the Council’s website, usually three days before the meeting date.

The Council has recess periods each year, in the month of July and over the Christmas period.
