Following your interview with North Ayrshire Council you will receive an email advising of the outcome. At this stage you may be advised that you are the 'Preferred Candidate'. If the pre-employment checks are successful the Council will then make a formal offer of employment. This offer will provide a link to your contract and to a number of 'New Start Employee Forms'.
These checks must be completed before a formal offer of employment can be made. Please ensure that you present for the required checks at your earliest convenience to allow a formal contract to be issued and a start date to be arranged.
1. Asylum & Immigration Check: All applicants are required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK. Guidance on which documents provide proof of right to work in the UK (PDF 47Kb) is available. These documents should be presented in person at Human Resources, Cunninghame House, Irvine, KA12 8EE before a formal offer can be made.
2. Protecting Vulnerable Groups Check: Applicants who work with children or vulnerable adults will be asked to undergo a 'PVG Check'. The PVG application form will be posted out to you if you are required to undergo this check. Please complete the relevant mandate and advise how you would prefer the deduction to be made.

3. Preferred Candidate Health Questionnaire
The information will be used to ensure that the Council has made any required reasonable adjustments prior to you commencing employment

Should the above checks be successful your offer of employment will be submitted to you electronically. The electronic contract will link to the relevant documents which you are required to read, complete or sign prior to starting work.
