Housing Services' Private Sector Advice Line offers advice and assistance to anyone living with, or affected by, private sector housing issues.
Private sector housing includes all properties that are owner-occupied or privately rented, but does not include Council houses or those managed by housing associations.

We have dedicated officers available to answer your questions at the following times:
Monday – Thursday 9.00am – 4.45pm
Friday: 9.00am – 4.30pm
Please note: the service is closed every second Thursday of the month, from 1.30pm, for staff training.
Who can use the service?
All home owners, private tenants and private landlords who live or rent properties in North Ayrshire. Anyone else with any questions about private sector housing can also get in touch.
