What is Tenancy Support?

Tenancy Support provides housing support to assist tenants living in North Ayrshire and aims to prevent and alleviate homelessness.  Tenants must be referred for this service through their local housing office or the Homeless Assessment Prevention and Advice Team.  Other agencies can also make referrals on your behalf. 

 

When you are referred for Tenancy Support, every effort will be made to make you feel at ease while discussing details of your circumstances.

 

 Tenancy Support can assist with a range of issues including:

  • Problems managing tenancies
  • Being at risk of becoming homeless, or has been homeless in the past
  • Accessing external services such as GP's, dentists etc
  • Financial pressures, rent arrears, personal debt
  • Form filling
  • Neighbour disputes, antisocial behaviour.

and any other issues which can have an impact on your tenancy.
