Ayrshire Equality Partnership Newsletter
The Ayrshire Equality Partnership has published a newsletter to provide information on what has been done in response to a survey it carried out to find out more about the needs of the ethnic minority community in Ayrshire.
The Partnership is made up of the three Ayrshire Councils, NHS Ayrshire & Arran, the Police, Fire and Rescue and the Procurator Fiscal. It was keen to understand how services could be improved.
There were 147 survey forms completed. The biggest response came from the Chinese community, with smaller numbers returned by the Pakistani and Indian communities. The survey provided useful information which has helped public services in planning for the future.
The newsletter has been translated into Cantonese, Polish, Urdu, and Punjabi and is available in other languages and formats on request.
