Pay Your Council Tax by Direct Debit
You can pay your Council Tax by Direct Debit and make your life much easier. Once this has been set up everything is done automatically. All you need is a bank or building society account which accepts direct debits. You can then either complete a Direct Debit mandate on-line, over the telephone or download a form.
You can call us on 0845 603 0592 to set up your direct debit over the phone which should only take a few minutes. You should have the following information ready before you make your call:

your Council Tax reference number (this can be found on your bill)

your bank account number and sort code
We will send you a confirmation letter within 3 working days of setting up your Direct Debit instruction. All payments are covered by the Direct Debit guarantee.
