If You Let Your Property Out
If you are a Landlord or Managing Agent it is your responsibility to notify us when a tenant is moving into or out of a property.
If a tenant is moving out of your property we will require the following:

the full name(s) of the tenant(s)

the date the tenancy ended
-
the date the tenant moved out of the property if different from the tenancy end date
-
the tenant's forwarding address
-
details of any other adults over the age of 18 who were living in the property and their relationship to the tenant e.g. son, daughter, relative
If a tenant is moving into your property we will require the following:
-
the full name(s) of the tenant(s)
-
the date the tenancy started
-
the date the tenant moved into the the property if different from the tenancy start date
-
the tenant's previous address
-
details of any other adults over the age of 18 who will be living in the property with the tenant and their relationship to the tenant e.g. son, daughter, relative
-
is/are the new tenant(s) full-time student(s)
-
is/are the new tenant(s) claiming Council Tax or Housing Benefit.
If your property is a furnished let and there is a period between tenants then you can apply for a 10% discount. If the property is an unfurnished let and there is a period between tenants then you could claim property exemption.
