Privacy Statement
You do not have to give us any personal data or private information about yourself to browse our site. You will be asked to provide some personal information if you wish to register with the website or carry out an online communication or payment. When receiving personal information from you the Council will comply with the Data Protection Act 1998. The Council may use anonymised content of communications in order to review & improve the content of the North Ayrshire Council website and our overall service to the public.
Any e-mails received by the Council will be subject to monitoring. Completion of any application or form obtained from this website, or the return of such to The North Ayrshire Council shall not imply the grant of any consent of license by the Council, nor shall it be deemed to create contractual relationships in every case.
Use of cookies by the Council website

Search Engine
Our site search is based around the Google Mini, a computer server that continuously monitors and indexes the content of the site. The Mini is designed to look and work exactly like Google on the web, and it is connected directly to our web server. However, its index is completely independent from the web version, and no information is passed onto third parties, including Google.
