Born at Coylton in 1865, Robert Bryden studied at the RSA (Royal Society of Arts) and RA (Royal Art) schools in London and went on to travel to Italy and Spain, sketching as he went. He returned to settle in Ayrshire where he produced a vast amount of work in a variety of media. This exhibition has been brought to you in partnership with Rozelle House|, South Ayrshire Council.

This photographic exhibition is an accompaniment to the publication of Saints, Monks and Knights - an in depth guide to North Ayrshire's medieval and early Renaissance structures, relics and artefacts. It features a number of wonderful images highlighting these amazing artefacts.
