At the Arran Outdoor Education Centre safety is paramount.

All our instructors| are experienced and qualified in the activities that they lead. Our specialist outdoor equipment is subject to rigorous safety checks, and we are inspected and licences by the Adventure Activities Licensing Service| (AALS)

All of our activities are risk assessed, and instructors adhere to strict guidelines and standard operating procedures when running an activity session. Stringent health & safety guidelines| are also adhered to in all of our centres and departments.

 

We are registered with the AALS to provide Kayaking, Paddle Surfing, Sailing, Windsurfing, Rock Climbing, Abseiling, Gorge Scrambling, Off-Road Cycling, Hill Walking & Mountaineering.

 

We are affiliated to the Mountaineering Council of Scotland|, a Scottish Canoe Association |approved centre and The Royal Yachting Association Training Centre |and we have close ties with the British Horse Society|.
