This RYA| Course provides training and qualification in the use of modern marine communication systems including DSC (Digital Selective Calling) and GMDSS (The Global Maritime Distress and Safety System).

The Course utilises our Computer suite for this purpose and simulators allow students to practise the various elements associated with DSC & GMDSS.

  • Emergency Radio Equipment
  • Routine Procedures

The course is conducted in a friendly informal atmosphere and students are carefully guided through this interesting and valuable procedure for the safe and professional use of VHF Radio at sea.
