1. Exclusion of the Public

The Sub Committee resolved, in terms of section 50A4 of the Local Government Scotland Act 1973 to exclude from the meeting the press and the public for the following item of business on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 7A of the Act.

2. Interviews for Post of Head of Service (Resources) (Social Services)

The Sub Committee interviewed three candidates for the post of Head of Service (Resources) (Social Services), those candidates having been short-leeted at the meeting of the Sub Committee held on 10 May 2005.

The Sub Committee agreed to appoint Ms Lesley Macleod to the post of Head of Service (Resources) (Social Services).

The meeting ended at 1.40 p.m.
