Ardrossan and Arran, Saltcoats and Stevenston Area Committee

You are requested to attend a Meeting of the above mentioned Committee of North Ayrshire Council to be held in the Arran Outdoor Resource Centre, Lamlash, Isle of Arran on THURSDAY 20 AUGUST 2009 at 11.00 a.m. to consider the undernoted business.

NOTE: The ferry leaves Ardrossan Harbour at 9.45 a.m. Tickets for Elected Members will be available from Committee Services staff.

1. Declarations of Interest
Members are requested to give notice of any declarations of interest in respect of items of business on the Agenda.


2. Strathclyde Police
Discuss with representatives of Strathclyde Police issues of local interest or concern.


3. Strathclyde Fire and Rescue
Submit report by Strathclyde Fire and Rescue on issues of local interest or concern (copy enclosed).

4. Arran Volunteer Fire Brigade
Receive verbal report by the Arran Volunteer Fire Brigade.



5. Community Development Grants and Local Youth Action Fund 2009/10: Applications for Financial Assistance

Submit report by the Corporate Director (Educational Services) on applications for financial assistance under the Council's Community Development Grants Scheme and the Local Youth Action Fund (copy enclosed).
