9. Motions

In terms of Standing Order No. 14, submit a Motion by Councillor Hill and seconded by Councillor Rae in the following terms:-

"North Ayrshire Council instructs the Head of Roads:-

• to remove the installation of traffic lights at the junction of Nelson Street and Boyd Street in Largs from the proposed Traffic Management Scheme and to have these installed at this junction immediately; and
  • to enter into discussions with Amey as the Trunk Roads Authority to have the proposed traffic lights at the junction of Main Street/Bath Street/Fort Street installed prior to the arrival of the new Caledonian MacBrayne vessel on the Largs-Cumbrae route."
    
    10. Elections: 3 May 2007: Designation of Polling Places

    Submit report by the Chief Executive on the designation of Polling Places for the combined Local Government and Scottish Parliamentary elections to be held on 3 May 2007 (copy enclosed).
